The difference between 3 months and 4 months is pretty big! Babies really do start to "come alive" so to speak between 4 and 6 months and we have definitely been witnessing this in our home the past month.
William is...
Cooing more and more
Starting to giggle
Smiling like crazy
Rolling over (he has only rolled over a few times but we'll take it!)
Baring weight on his legs when held up
Trying SO hard to sit up
Great at head control
Loving his fingers
Bringing so so much JOY to our life :)
Despite the fact that adjusting to parenthood has not been a piece of cake... and has challenged us and at times has made us feel so helpless and inadequate (hopefully we aren't the only ones who have felt this!)... it has been totally worth it! We are absolutely hands down in LOVE with our boy (obviously!). All William has to do is smile, coo or laugh and it completely melts our hearts. It's the sweetest reward no matter how long the days and late the nights. He is only a baby for so long and we are doing our best to soak it all up while it lasts!
4 Months has been so fun! It's crazy to think there are so many more skills around the corner!
What a beautiful picture of your sweet little family! I love reading your updates and seeing William pictures. Nope, you're definitely NOT the only ones who have felt helpless and inadequate. But eventually that evolves into relaxed and confident. You are amazing parents already. Baby WIlliam is so lucky to have you. We miss you in the ward!
